Tuesday 9 January was certainly out the ordinary!
With the 3pm Heritage Service getting ready to depart Queenscliff for Drysdale we could see heavy smoke in the distance. After a discussion with Victoria Police and the CFA the train was cancelled with a coach organised – not quite 1920′s style, but ensured our passengers arrived back to Drysdale Station safe and sound!
Many thanks for the passengers understanding and also to Angus from Christian’s Bus Co. for arranging transport at such short notice!
