All activities are held at the Queenscliff Station (20 Symonds St, Queenscliff in VIC) and the 45 minute return train ride goes from Queenscliff to Lakers Siding. Please note there will be no services to or from Drysdale on Thomas event days.
Free parking is available at the station site (on a first come first served basis) and in nearby streets.
There are no toilet facilities on our heritage carriages – toilets are available in the activity hall and on the platform. An emergency portaloo at located on the platform at Lakers Siding.
Families arriving at the event less than 10 minutes prior to the pre-booked train time accept that their tickets will be moved to the next available train. The event offers plenty of other activities to enjoy while waiting for the new train departure time.
Important event update as of 5 April 2017
Please be advised that the event is expected to be sold out shortly and once this occurs Patrons need to know that seats for the 45 minute train ride, cannot be moved to another train time. It is strongly recommended to arrive at least 1 hour prior to the pre-booked train time (2 hrs for 3.30pm train), as the platform gates close 10 minutes prior to the train departure time and no entry is possible after this time under any circumstances.
On-line tickets are required to be presented (either printed or shown on a phone) on the event day at the white booking office tent located next to the main station building.
On days declared a ‘Total Fire Ban’ or considered to be extreme fire risk, Thomas’ Diesel Friends will provide the train ride and Troublesome Truck Rides. But of course Thomas and his other Steamy Friends will also be there and eager to have their photo taken with everyone!
Tickets will not be transferred or refunded due to: weather conditions on the event day; nonattendance in part or in whole; change of mind or the inability to provide a particular character or activity. Please also note that show bag contents may vary.
